You're in B2B sales.
You’re in a corporate B2B (Business to Business) sales role. As in: you work for a company where you have sales targets, a boss, and a territory and/or a list of customers. The techniques and research found here are not focused on individual consumer behaviour. So if you sell on places like Etsy or TikTok, there are probably better options that show you how to market to individuals. The Curious Salesperson program was created to help professional salespeople have better business conversations with their clients, who also work for small to large companies.
Professional consultants.
You’re a professional consultant who has business development as an important part of your role. If you never considered yourself to “be in sales” (and you never wanted that sales title!) but you’ve realised that in order to excel in your consulting role you need to bring new corporate clients into your portfolio, then this program will work for you. We would love to have you join us if you are ready to understand how to have genuine business development conversations.
1 + years' of experience.
You’ve had a minimum of 1 year in sales or business development in your industry. This program is most effective if you have an understanding of your products and services, your industry and your territory, all of which usually takes at least a year to settle into your brain. You KNOW that I want more smart, wonderful people to stay in sales, so that we change the reputation of the sales profession. I’ve had clients ask about using this program for onboarding, and the answer is usually a gentle No. You need to have enough experience to know WHY the techniques, mindset, and communication skills I’m sharing with you will WORK, and how Becoming The Curious Salesperson is slightly (or a lot) different, but better, from what you’ve been doing.
